The criteria applied in cause analysis aim at solving the problem while others support the primary activity. The RCA helps to implement the right tool while addressing a particular issue. The managers face the challenge of identifying the sequence of events leading to the problem and conditions allowing the problem to occur (Wetterneck et al., 2016).
