The ad's goal is to use the experience of the older people to help them move forward. The truth about this ad is that people have used the expertise of the elderly members to solve some societal problems. For instance, the story describes how the people were relying on traditional midwives but now consult modern doctors during delivery. Also, they moved from using old farming methods to the use of modern machines. The brand benefits in that it can convince the people that standard bank has been offering the best banking experience for 150 years. The message attracts more customers while maintaining the existing to rely on it for all their financial needs. The advert involving the bank uses characters the audience can quickly identify (Lundqvist et al., 2013). The most common is the elder who looks familiar and respected it this society. Using a person who is known by the locals creates a sense of confidence among the local people. Also, the story has a stable structure with a start, a middle section, and a conclusive ending. It thus gives the viewer’s organized information that they can comprehend easily. In the Ferrari advert, the target audience is the people with an infinite love for fast cars.
